In the presence of her loving family Angela M. McNeil-Smith, 46, of Mechanicsburg, fell asleep in death unexpectedly on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center.
She is now in the safest place that anyone could be; Jehovah God's loving memory awaiting the time of the resurrection to a paradise earth as John 5:25, 28, 29 says..."the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live..."the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."
Born March 27, 1972 in Harrisburg, she was a graduate of John Harris High School and attended Empire Beauty School.
She was a baptized footstep follower of Jesus Christ and loyal servant of our Loving Creator Jehovah God. Angela was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mechanicsburg and an amazingly loving caregiver to her family. Proverbs 31:10 the “Capable Wife” describes Angela best. She was the consummate “homemaker”. Her house was always immaculate, her landscaping was picturesque and caring for her beloved family her greatest joy. As Proverbs 31:27-29 states: “She watches over the activity of her household, And the bread of laziness she does not eat. Her children rise up and declare her happy; Her husband rises up and praises her. There are many capable women, But you—you surpass them all.”
Angela, or “GG” as children called her, had a charisma that drew them to her. Whether she was homeschooling her boys or nieces or just playing, she gave 100% of her attention to the children with an ability and patience to teach them that often astounded others. Always smiling and kindhearted, she had a way of making others feel valued and comfortable. Angela was always encouraging to those who needed her spiritual guidance and comforting love; from the early morning texts on through the day, she was a rock to many people. Even on family vacations to Hilton Head, SC, she was surrounded by family and cared for them all.
Angela always had a beautiful smile and positive attitude towards life. She will be greatly missed by her family and spiritual family until we all are reunited together in Paradise on earth when, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:3,4)
Surviving is her loving husband, Chad M. Smith, Sr., with whom she would have celebrated 23 years of marriage with on the 21st of November (As Ecclesiastes 4;12 says: “And someone may overpower one alone, but two together can take a stand against him. And a threefold cord cannot quickly be torn apart.”): her mother, Patricia McNeil, Mechanicsburg; her father, Johnnie McNeil, Alabama, her precious sons, Chad M. Smith, Jr., and Austin M. Smith, both at home; her sister, Christina McNeil, Mechanicsburg; her brother, Jason McNeil, Mechanicsburg; her nieces and nephews, Ceaira, Alexus, Kayla, John III, Jon’e, Jason Jr., and Jahmir; her great nephews, Jayquan (who Angela called Peanut and had a special bond with; one as between a mother and a son), Landon and Avery; and many, many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John McNeil, Jr.
