Betty I. Kauffman

Betty Irene Kauffman, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Gardens of West Shore, Camp Hill.

Born October 19, 1934 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Mary I. (Stinson) Kauffman and was a retired secretary from Statesman’s Insurance Group.

She was a faithful child of God and was a devout member of the Camp Hill Church of God, where she was a Sunday School teacher.

Betty loved collecting stuffed animals and lighthouses. She and her father would often take trips together just to photograph lighthouses around the country.

Although she never had children, she was a beloved, fun and quirky “second mother” to her younger cousins.

She is survived by her cousins and her dear friends from church.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2019 at her church, 123 S. 21st St., Camp Hill, with the Rev. Jason Cooksey officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Shoop’s Cemetery.

Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
