Cecile M. (Lutze) Looker, 75, formerly of Lower Paxton Township, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born July 20, 1947 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Rudy and Jeanne Marie (Morische) Lutze and was a 1965 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.
Cecile retired from Lakewood Hills Apartment Complex as a property manager to focus on caring for her family. An incredible cook, she was known for her Chicken Francaise, Dutch Macaroni, and her Watergate cake.
Quite the fashionista, she modeled in New York City when she was younger, and still appreciated shopping for the latest fashions and interior decorations. She was a woman of many talents who played piano and violin, enjoyed dancing, and had a beautiful singing voice. She loved traveling all over the world; going to hear live music and Broadway plays; going out to eat and watching various television shows while relaxing with her husband.
Mostly, she was a Mama bear who always put her family first and cherished the time she spent with them.
She was the widow of Samuel Looker, who passed away in 2021 after 17 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her beloved basset hound, Bailey.
Surviving are her sons: Robert W. Kelly, Harrisburg and Kristoffer C. Kelly (and his wife, Casilda Luciano Kelly), Harrisburg; her step daughter: Samantha Hilfiker (and her husband, Mark) Audubon, PA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Youth Group Program at CrossPoint Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, 17109 or the Humane Society of Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, 17111.
Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
