David "Aldo" Thompson, 41, of Red Lion, passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at York Hospital.
Born March 29, 1977 in Camp Hill, he was the son of the late Clair Thompson and Debra Kovacevich Thompson, Norfolk, VA.
David graduated from High School, Culinary School and served in the US Navy, as a Chef.
He played intramural and school sports, including baseball, football and his most favorite, basketball. David also played softball for his church (Calvary Baptist) softball league in Virginia Beach, VA. He also was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Surviving is his mother and step father, Debra K. Thompson and Dennis Walker; his children Jasmine and Emma Thompson, Williamsburg, VA and Adrianna and Elijah Thompson, Lebanon,PA.; his sister, Lisa C. and his brother, Stephen M. (wife - Carrie), Harrisburg; 3 nephews, Caleb, Isaiah and Ethan Thompson and 2 nieces, Claire and Kaytee Thompson.
David resided with his fiancée, Tamara N. Abrantes and her three children Daniel, Dylan, and Dominic Abrantes.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday October 12, 2018 at United Church of God, 1211 Fairmont Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17112, with Reverend Dennis Walker and Dr. James Pugh officiating. Viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until the 1:00 PM at the church.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Gaudenzia, Central Regin, 2930 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Burial with be at a later date.
