Donald R. Rohrbach, Jr., or “Bo” as he was known to friends and family, age 64, of Grantville, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Carolyn’s House, Harrisburg.
Born March 19, 1952 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Donald R. Rohrbach, Sr. and Ruth Demmy Rohrbach; and was also preceded in death by his stepson, James McDougal.
Bo was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and was self-employed roofer.
He was a member of the National Roofers Union, Local 30H; and was a social member of both the Hershey American Legion and the Hershey VFW. He loved fishing and hunting, and spent many years at the family cabin in Tioga County. Bo was also a fan of the Chicago Bears and NASCAR, especially Rusty Wallace.
Surviving is his daughter: Jennifer A. (and her husband, Kerry) Pollard, Telford, PA; 3 sisters: Mary J. (and her husband, William) Zelko, Dauphin, Catherine “Boots” (and her husband, Kenneth) Kapp, Harrisburg and Michelle “Shellie” Rohrbach (and her husband, Darrell Zeller), Oberlin; 2 grandchildren: Bryan Young and Serena Pollard; and 5 nieces and nephews: Shannon Zelko, Jeffrey Zelko, Christine Rine, Michael Deardorff and Timothy Deardorff.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Monday, December 5, 2016 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, with the Rev. John W. Green officiating. Burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens will be held at the convenience of the family.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home.
