Eusebio E. Forestier, affectionately known to all as "Cuco", departed from this world on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving behind a cherished legacy in Harrisburg.
Born March 22, 1956, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Efrain Forestier and Francisca Casiano and was also preceded in death by his siblings, Josefina Velez and Ismael Velez.
Cuco led a life infused with joy and creativity, known to many as a talented mechanic and a beloved DJ during his twenties and thirties. His passion for music resonated at countless celebrations, where his infectious energy and laughter illuminated every gathering. Beyond his work, Cuco found happiness in the simple pleasures of life: exploring flea markets, cruising the streets of Harrisburg with his three-legged canine companion, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with those he held dear. To his numerous nieces and nephews, he was the beloved Tio Cuco—the family’s perpetual jokester, whose humor and warmth endeared him to everyone.
Surviving are his sisters: Carmen Santos, Maria Ramos, and Hilda Ramos; his brother: Pedro Luis Ramos; his son: Carlos Forestier; many, many beloved nieces, nephews and their families, and cherished friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
In honor of his vibrant life, a celebration will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Kimmel Funeral Home, located at 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg. As we come together to commemorate Eusebio's extraordinary journey, we invite all who knew him to join in sharing memories and celebrating the remarkable man he was.
