Gerald “Jerry” Repa, Sr. 69, Swatara Township, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home.
Born July 2, 1951 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irene Repa, was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and was retired from Hershey Creamery Company where he worked for for 40 years.
Jerry was an avid NASCAR fan as well as a Philadelphia sports fan. He was a member of the Owl’s Club in Newport, Pa. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. For those that knew Jerry they also knew him as “Moose”. Jerry was a kind and caring man. He would do anything for anyone in their time of need. He will be deeply missed by so many.
Surviving is his wife of 14 years, Linda L. (Ganoe) Repa; 3 children: Gerald Repa Jr. (and his wife, Brenda), Enola, Jennifer Clemens (Repa), Palmyra and Beth Allwein (and her husband, Jason), Lebanon; step-daughter: Tammy Wise, Steelton; 4 brothers: Leonard Repa (and his wife, Julie) Harrisburg, Bernard Repa (and his wife, Veronica), Myerstown, Donald Repa (and his wife, Dava), Duncannon and Richard Repa (and his wife, Jan), Elizabethtown; 9 grandchildren: Miranda Repa, Aliyah Monismith, Cameron Davies, TJ Repa, Alyssa Repa, Trevor Repa, Liam Zeigler, Calvin Wise III, and Lynnsey Wise, 4 great grandchildren: Grayson Walmer, Lillian Walmer, Christian Malinski, and Milanna Wise, and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
