Harry S. Soehnlein, 82, Mechanicsburg and formerly of Hershey, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born July 28, 1939 in Teaneck, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Margaret E. (Hughes) Soehnlein, and was also preceded in death by a son, James Soehnlein and a granddaughter, Emily Pritsch.
Following graduation from Teaneck High School, Harry attended the University of Michigan, where he received his Master’s Degree. He was a retired pharmacist. Even after moving his family to Hershey in 1980, he remained a staunch University of Michigan Wolverines football fan. He also enjoyed golfing, reading mysteries and the New York Times, and cheering on the New York Giants.
Surviving is his wife of over 56 years, Linda R. (Stille) Soehnlein; his daughter: Debra Pritsch (and her husband, Jeffrey), Harrisburg; and his grandson: Devon Pritsch.
Graveside services at Hershey Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
