John J. Logan

John J. Logan, 63, “Potts”, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Harrisburg Hospital.

Born July 15, 1961, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Theran Dunbar and Marcella Dade Dunbar and was a 1979 graduate of Harrisburg High School.

 He had worked for a time at Boscov’s Warehouse, was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 733, Harrisburg and enjoyed reading Marvel comics since he was a boy.

 An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame football, he preferred to spend his time with his family and a small tight-knit group of friends, often watching the games.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death earlier this year by his brother, Tommy.

 Surviving are his siblings: Stephanie E. Graves, Eugene A. Logan, and Mark E. Logan (and his wife, Stephanie); and 3 nephews and their families.

 Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be beside his brother at Shoop’s Garden of Rest.

 Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
