Kimberly Ann (Galbraith) Mowry Stiles, 56, passed away in the presence of her loving family at her home in Grantville on Monday, April 3, 2023.
Born December 13, 1966 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Davita “Dee” (Latin) Galbraith and the late Robert G. Galbraith, Sr.
Kim attended Dauphin County Vo-Tech, was a former employee of Holiday Inn Express and the Comfort Inn and had also worked in the concessions at Penn National Race Course.
She was a Steelers fan; loved almost all kinds of music; playing card and board games; and was a hacky sack ninja. Strong-willed and sassy, you always knew where you stood with Kim. She was a firecracker with a great sense of humor.
Mostly, Kim was a devoted member of a large and adoring family: she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Her family, especially her grandchildren and nieces and nephews were her “hobby”. Always everyone’s caregiver, she cherished her time with all of them. She loved sunshine and the beach, and especially enjoyed the time spent fishing with her husband, Tony, whom she affectionately called her “Bone”.
Surviving is her husband: Robert A. “Tony” Stiles; her mother: Dee Galbraith, Hershey; her 2 children: Erica A. Stiles and Erik A. Stiles, both of Grantville; her brothers and sisters: Michael J. Latin, Grantville, Robert G. Galbraith, Jr., Harrisburg, John J. Galbraith, Mountville, Jennifer L. Taleff (and her husband, James), Harrisburg, Jeff S. Galbraith (and his wife, Traci), Hershey, Mandy E. Shutt (and her husband, Justin), Etters, and James A. Galbraith, Harrisburg; 3 grandchildren: Aubree Via, Kya Via, and Addison Stiles; her best friends: Dawn, Diana, Kathleen, and Cindi; and many, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at East Shore Baptist Church, 6721 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg where friends will be received from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Four Diamonds, 1249 Cocoa Ave #115, Hershey, 17033.
