Linda R. (Stille) Soehnlein, 76, Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Harrisburg.
Born December 19, 1945 in Hoboken, NJ, she was the only child of the late Walter and Ruth (Danmeyer) Stille, was a graduate of Teaneck High School, and received her RN from Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ.
Linda was the widow of Harry S. Soehnlein, who passed away in 2021 after over 56 years of marriage. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her son, James E. Soehnlein and granddaughter, Emily Pritsch.
Growing up, Linda was an “Army brat”, and lived with her family in many places, including Virginia, Guam, Japan and Germany. She married Harry on July 17, 1965 and they moved their family to Hershey in 1980. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the OB/GYN department of Harrisburg Hospital for many years.
Although a firm mother, she did enjoy sewing and crafting, making clothes for her children, grandchildren, and the girls’ Barbie Dolls. She was a beautiful singer and was a member of the Sweet Adelines. Linda enjoyed throwing tea parties for the ladies in her neighborhood, watching Downton Abbey, and listening to Elvis.
Surviving is her daughter, Debra S. Pritsch (and her husband, Jeffrey), Harrisburg; and her grandson, Devon Pritsch.
Graveside services at Hershey Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
