Surrounded by his loving family, Pedro Rolon-Faria, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at his home in Harrisburg.
Born on May 19, 1956, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Pedro was the beloved son of the late Ramon Rolon-Rios and Rita Faria-Maldonado. He was welcomed into eternal rest by his brothers Julio, Juan, and Roberto, who have gone before him.
Raised in the embrace of the Catholic faith, Pedro dedicated his life to hard work, serving as both a farmer and a construction worker. He was adored by his family, not only for his unwavering strength but also for his playful, goofy sense of humor. His sentimental nature revealed itself in his devoted role as a protective father, especially towards his cherished daughters. Pedro poured his heart into working on cars and tending to his vegetable garden, but nothing brought him as much joy as the time spent with his family, who will forever be grateful for the love and spoiling he generously provided.
His legacy lives on through his beloved children: Jenny Rolon-Torres, Merian Rolon-Torres, Juan Carlos Torres, and Cindi Mari Torres (and her husband, Elieser Reyes). He is also survived by his loving siblings: Elena, Vicente, Carmen, Lydia, Maria, Teresa, Francisco, Cecelia, Manuel, Andrea, and Angel. Pedro took great pride and joy in his three adored grandchildren: Elisabeth, Alondra, and Elyse, as well as his many nieces and nephews, all of whom will hold him close in their hearts.
Services will be held at the family’s convenience, allowing them the time to honor the remarkable life Pedro led.
Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is honored to serve Pedro's family.
