Ridge Lee Moore, Jr.

December 5, 2007 — October 21, 2024

Harrisburg

Ridge Lee Moore, Jr., affectionately known as “Noodle”, 16, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home in Harrisburg.

Born on December 5, 2007, Ridge was the cherished son of Oriana Merino and Ridge Moore, Sr.  A bright and ambitious student, he was in 11th grade at Commonwealth Charter Academy with dreams of becoming a lawyer and embracing the exhilarating experience of college life.

Ridge was a radiant spirit; his sweetness and humor lit up every room he entered.  He was a loyal friend, a protective brother, and a caring son, whose love for his little sister knew no bounds.  He enjoyed listening to music and was an Eagles, Penn State and Kobe Bryant fan.  Mostly, he immersed himself playing sports, especially basketball and football, on his PlayStation, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is his mother: Oriana Merino; his father: Ridge Moore, Sr.; his brothers: Zamir Nobles and Safear Wallace; his sisters: Aviana Bartow and Leeagia Moore; maternal grandmother: Raquel Cuni; paternal grandmother: Lori Moore; maternal grandfather and paternal grandfather; one niece: Amaleni Kapri Lopez; uncles Franklin Sierra, Ricky Merino, and Jerry Merino; and many, many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and dear friends. Each of them will carry his memory forward and feel the profound emptiness in his absence.

The family will announce services to honor and celebrate his life.

Kimmel Funeral Home in Harrisburg is entrusted with the arrangements.

Ridge will be deeply missed but his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
