Sandra A. (Schnable) DeAngelis, 79, Camp Hill, passed away with her beloved husband by her side on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born August 20, 1942 in Reading, she was the only child of the late Edward and Julia (Dlugosz) Schnable and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Irwin and her grandson, Brad Plaunt.
She was the wife of Nicholas A. DeAngelis, whom she married on November 26, 1982. They moved from Reading to Camp Hill in 2004 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Sandra was a valued member of the Carlisle Eagles, where she loved to go to play Bingo, in addition playing at the Monaghan Township Volunteer Fire Company. She also enjoyed watching game shows and collected lighthouses and lions.
Straightforward and honest, Sandra was loving and kind, and had a great sense of humor. Mostly, she cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Nicholas; her children: Johnna Plaunt, Harrisburg and Keith Steinle, Ladson, SC; 11 grandchildren: Barry Plaunt, Nicholas Plaunt, Kyle Plaunt, Jordan Krause, Brandan Celmer, Ravan Irwin, Raygan Irwin, Jason Irwin, Cristen Steinle, Kayla Bowers, and Felicia Bates; 13 great grandchildren; her precious dog, Beau; and a host of other family members and friends.
There will be no services planned.

Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
