Shirley A. (Romberger) Windowmaker

Shirley A. (Romberger) Windowmaker, 84, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at Colonial Park Care Center.

Born August 5, 1935 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Maude (Michaels) Romberger.

She was the widow of Herman J. Windowmaker, who passed away in 2007 after nearly 46 years of marriage.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Smith; her brothers, Ralph Romberger, Richard Romberger and Donald Romberger, and her sisters, Florence Staley and Karen Bishop.

Mostly enjoying quiet time by herself, Shirley liked to pass her time doing word search and other puzzles and latch hooking.

Surviving are her daughters, Eleanor Yocum (and her husband, Robert), Blain, Linda Harris, Annville, and Shirley Miller (and her husband, Michael), Middletown; her brother, Robert Romberger (and his wife, Sarah), Camp Hill; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
