Walter R. Stafford

Walter R. Stafford, 67, Harrisburg, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019.

Born March 3, 1952 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Ronald Stafford and Clara Stafford of Harrisburg and was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church.

Walter was a 1970 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, where he was an all-around athlete. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.

Surviving is his mother, Clara Stafford, Harrisburg; his daughter: Kendra L. Breen (and her husband, Robert), Harrisburg; his siblings: Andrea Laudermilch (and her husband, Thomas), Harrisburg, Corrine Wright (and her husband, Dennis), Royersford, PA, Brian Stafford, Trinity, NC and Robert Stafford, Williamsburg, VA; one granddaughter: Sydney Breen, Harrisburg; his aunt: Patricia Evans (and her family), Twinsburg, OH; his former wife: Vicki Knull, Middletown; and nieces, nephews and their families.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
